During my internship at MTC, being part of a team – working through problems, planning, relating and working alongside each other, and just living life in ministry together – has taught me many lessons. I feel it has given me a good picture of what church planting and life in long term ministry looks like, and I’m excited for what God has for me next.

My favorite thing about living in NYC was the mind-boggling variety of people. I loved having the world on my doorstep. A favorite memory was going out for lunch with students and fellow teachers from the Chinese center and trying rice porridge and jackfruit paste. Probably the thing that impacted me the most was the emphasis on evangelism as a lifestyle rather than an event.
