Develop a Heart for Missions

Gain exposure to world cultures and religions, catch God’s vision for global missions, and learn practical evangelism tools and ministry skills through our World Outreach Weekend (WOW) program. Church, school, and youth groups work with us to arrange a weekend schedule of classes and ministry activities. Your time here may include:

  • Learning about unreached people groups
  • Singing and distributing literature in a train station
  • Practicing personal evangelism techniques
  • Visiting a Muslim mosque or a Buddhist temple
  • Prayer walking on the neighborhood streets

Increase Your Vision

Groups are stretched and challenged during their time here, both spiritually and physically. Times of hands-on outreach and witnessing conversations can be demanding. The days are long and we walk for miles. But students return home with renewed interest in world missions and practical outreach ideas that they can carry out in their own communities.

“WOW turned my interest in world missions into a life goal I began pursuing. It gave me big ideas to plan for and small ways to get involved immediately.”

Schedule Your Group

World Outreach Weekends take place in the spring, summer, and fall. We are often booked a year in advance, so contact us early with questions about bringing your group! We offer one WOW event in March open to individual youth. Approximate cost is $155 per person, which includes lodging, subway fare, and most meals.
